Anaheim Police Department searched an illegal gambling operation and arrested up to 70 people on Wednesday, February 10th.

For about two months, officials had been investigating the art furniture store where the gambling company operated, said Sgt. Jacob Gallacher of Anaheim Police Department.

It was around 10 a.m. when they issued an arrest warrant on 1672 West Lincoln Avenue, Gallacher said. Inside, they found slot machines and guns among the dozen inside.

“We have received over 50 complaints about this facility,” said Gallacher. “This was a 24-hour operation every day.”

In October, a shop next door was also raided for the same activity.

The police said that no one was injured while the arrest warrant was being carried out. On Wednesday afternoon, authorities were still processing dozens of people who were in the company and were unable to immediately confirm how many arrests were made.
