Kambi has expanded its global offering and has become a sports betting partner of Racing and Wagering Western Australia (RWWA).

As part of the long-term partnership, Kambi will deliver its sports betting technology and services to RWWA, which will enhance its current sports betting offering through the agreement through its retail stores and the online brand TABtouch.

RWWA, the state racing authority responsible for the Totalizator Agency Board (TAB) in Western Australia, can use Kambi’s sports betting services to complement its existing racing betting product.

The racing authority, with a network of more than 320 retail agencies, also distributes profits from their betting business to support the racing industry in Western Australia.

Kristian Nylén, CEO of Kambi, said: “This is an important strategic partnership for Kambi. The agreement underscores Kambi’s ability to configure our technology to meet the needs of all operators and regulated markets, and we are excited to play a critical role in RWWA’s online and retail success.

Ian Edwards, CEO of RWWA added, “As an organization that funds the state’s racing industry, RWWA is focused on maximizing its profits through the Western Australian TAB in the long-term interest of the industry and we believe this partnership will help to get better results. ”

The agreement builds on Kambi’s global partnerships, which include signing a long-term partnership with Dutch casino operator JVH Gaming & Entertainment last month before launching online in the country later this year.

At the beginning of this month, the sports betting provider anticipated an increase in sales in the fourth quarter of 2020 compared to the previous year by up to 80% to EUR 46 million (USD 48.9 million) to EUR 48 million.
