Police in New Jersey broke up a party on Saturday night at which around 50 people were reported for illegal drinking and gambling.

Newark police officers blew up the illegal gathering at around 10 p.m. on Saturday at the Portuguese football club on Wilson Avenue.

The people who gathered in it consumed alcohol from a well-stocked bar and played cards and slot machines in the facility, police said.

Three people, the reported manager, the bartender and the man guarding the entrance gate, were arrested. The first two counts are for illegal alcohol establishment, possession of alcohol, illicit sale of alcohol, and possession of games of chance. The security guard is charged with aiding and abetting.

In total, the police confiscated 403 bottles of beer, wine and liquor, and slot machine revenue of US $ 6,829.
