Gambling software group Playtech said Tuesday that it has signed strategic agreements with various Greenwood Racing subsidiaries.
According to Playtech, the agreement with Greenwood, the owner and operator of Parx Casino in Pennsylvania, includes licensing its products in the states of Michigan, Indiana, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, beginning with the online casino’s launch in Michigan on the FTSE 250 list Manage the company’s IMS platform and player account.
CEO Mor Weizer said, “The US is a very strategic market and this multi-state, multi-product agreement underscores the need for the full breadth of our product offering.
“This is the next step for Playtech in the US. We are excited to work with the Greenwood companies to capitalize on this exciting long-term opportunity.”
As of 0850 GMT, Playtech shares rose 2.11% to 495.23 pence.
