Raskin has also worked hard to do his part in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. At the beginning of the pandemic, Micah provided a soup kitchen and homeless shelter with 5,000 medical masks and 1,000 bottles of hand sanitizer in Hempstead, New York when PPE supplies were scarce and difficult to obtain to keep customers and employees safe at work .
